Dobbs’ Rising Ratings: “We Like The Trend”

Lou Dobbs chastised my word choice today.

Via e-mail, I asked what he attributes his recent ratings gains to. “Rising interest in the issues, including illegal immigration, that we cover,” he responded.

Then I asked, “Are you worried this audience spike is just a temporary reflection of the nation’s interest in immigration?” And he responded: “Spikes by definition are always temporary, but we like the trend.”
