Dobbs Taking Up Brown’s Time
An emailer asks: “What was up with Lou Dobbs running 2:03 into the 8p hour (election center)?” We checked TVEyes, and Dobbs did, in fact, run until at least 8:02:00 last night into the time slot of Campbell Brown: Election Center. It’s rare for prime time cable news programs to go over their alloted time; a few seconds, perhaps, but rarely two minutes. Since the shows often re-air in the middle of the night, they need to stick to their 60-minute format. Breaking news or technical problems might be a reason. But neither seemed to be the case last night.
