Doc Block Dropped For Prime Time Repeats

maddow_9-15(2).jpgLast Monday was 9/8/08 and the premiere of the Rachel Maddow Show, and MSNBC promo’ed the event with slogans like, “It’s On!”

One week later comes more changes to the prime time line-up — the doc block is off.

Tonight, a new line-up will be in place for MSNBC. Following Countdown’s repeat at 10pmET, the Rachel Maddow Show will air at 11pmET, followed by Hardball at MidnightET and Race for the White House at 1amET.

The doc block had been pushed back since March, when David Gregory took over the 6pmET slot and Countdown began re-airing at 10pmET.

We hear the doc block will still air late night on Friday and on the weekends. The change will last through the election.
