domdavis071410.jpg Former Fox News Channel meteorologist Domenica Davis, who was “filling in” on “Early Today” and “First Look” at NBC News and MSNBC last week, has landed a full-time job with the company.

Davis is joining WNBC New York as a meteorologist, effective immediately.

WNBC will be the third NBC affiliate that Davis has worked for, having previously reported the weather for WBAL in Baltimore, Maryland and WAVE in Louisville, Kentucky.

Davis joined Fox News in April, 2007, and left the cable network in May of this year.

Update: ucfphillys in the comments section notes that Davis is also filling in for Bill Karins on “Morning Joe,” and is also appearing on “Early Today,” “Way Too Early” and “First Look” this week.
