Eric Horng Joining Chicago’s ABC Station

Chicago-based ABC News correspondent Eric Horng is leaving the network and joining ABC’s Windy City O&O, WLS-TV.

Vocalo.org’s Robert Feder reports that Horng, a Chicago native, will begin his new job as a general assignment reporter on August 9. An ABC spokesperson tells TVNewser Horng will remain at the network through that date.

Horng joined ABC’s NewsOne in 2003 and was named a network correspondent in 2007. Previously, he reported for CNN and for CNN Newsource.
