ESPN 980 Delaying Podcasts By 24 Hours
Fans of The Tony Kornheiser Show on ESPN 980 were in for a rude surprise Friday as the radio station abruptly changed their podcast policy.
ESPN 980 posted the following statement on their website:
Podcasts will now be available 24 hours after the original airing for all of our regularly scheduled programming,” Please listen live to the radio to hear our programming in real time if you don’t want to miss it. Thanks for your support!
I understand you ideally want people to listen live, but who wants a podcast with day-old news?
ESPN 980′s programming director Chuck Sapienza could not be reached for comment.
