ESPN, Corona Extra Announce Boxing Agreement

ESPN and Corona Extra announced a multimedia sponsorship agreement Thursday that makes the Mexican beer the presenting sponsor of ESPN’s Friday Night Fights and Golpe a Golpe, ESPN Deportes’ weekly boxing studio show.

Along with fight telecast sponsorship, the agreement includes English and Spanish language in-ring exposure via a center ring mat with the Corona Extra logo, digital and print exposure and on-site activations.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Corona Extra replaces Tecate, which decided not to renew their deal with ESPN in February.
