Evening News Ratings: 2006 #’s

“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams reached a ratings milestone — winning the 2006 calendar year in all categories and marking the broadcast’s tenth straight year as the top-rated network evening newscast,” the network says. Here are the 2006 numbers:

Total viewers: NBC: 8,785,000 / ABC: 8,069,000 / CBS: 7,429,000

Homes: NBC: 6.1/12 / ABC: 5.7/11 / CBS: 5.2/10

25-54 viewers: NBC: 2,821,000 / ABC: 2,723,000 / CBS: 2,376,000
