Evening News Ratings: Week of Sept. 15

A split decision for the evening newscasts last week. Charlie Gibson‘s broadcast had the most total viewers, while Brian Williams won in the A25-54 demo. It was the second week in a row on top in Total Viewers for World News.

All three broadcasts were down from the prior week which saw ABC’s interviews with Gov. Sarah Palin as well as coverage of Hurricane Ike late in the week.

Total Viewers: ABC: 7,820,000 / NBC: 7,650,000 / CBS: 5,450,000

25-54 demo: ABC: 2,410,000 / NBC: 2,540,000 / CBS: 1,690,000

25-54 rating: ABC: 2.0/8 / NBC: 2.1/9 / CBS: 1.4/6
