Evening Newscasts Report from West Virginia Tonight
Following the explosion last evening in a West Virginia mine that claimed the lives of 25 people, the ABC and CBS newscasts tonight will be anchored from the area and NBC will feature reports from WV.
- For ABC, Diane Sawyer will anchor “World News” from WV. She also reported for “Good Morning America” from there this morning.
- Harry Smith will remain in WV after his “Early Show” appearance today and anchor “CBS Evening News.” He’s subbing for Katie Couric while she is in Haiti this week.
- Brian Williams anchors from New York this evening with Tom Costello and Ron Mott reporting for “NBC Nightly News.” Norah O’Donnell will also be in WV.
