For the fifth straight week, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams was the top evening news broadcast in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo. All broadcasts were up from the previous week in both categories as well. One important note — NBC and CBS' averages are based on a four-day week (Tuesday-Friday, excluding New Years Eve), while the ABC average is based on a three-day week (it did not air on Tuesday due to the Rose Bowl).
