Just 50,000 total viewers and 60,000 demo viewers separated Nightly and World News with Charles Gibson. And it was another strong week for the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric with 6.79M total viewers. That's the best showing for the Couric broadcast since the week of March 5. (7.00M total viewers).
