Fans To Vote For The Madden NFL 12 Cover Athlete

We might not have a NFL season but Madden NFL 12 is still slated to hit stores in August. In a new twist for this year, fans will be able to vote for the cover athlete in a 32-player playoff from today through April 27, as first reported by Owen Good of Kotaku.com.

Madden will partner up with ESPN and fans can go to www.ESPN.com/MaddenVote in order to cast their vote.

One of the 32 athletes in the running is Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, which would spark a protest of the game if he somehow pulled off the impossible.

Fans were able to vote between three candidates last year and Drew Brees easily defeated Reggie Wayne and Jared Allen.
