FBN Dropped From Sirius XM

fbn_12-29.jpgSirius XM has dropped the Fox Business News channel from the XM line-up, effective December 27.

A tipster pointed us to the former site for the FBN channel this morning, which now is no longer active. The site read:

As of December 27th SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio no longer carries FOX Business News XM 136. Check out our other business channels, CNBC Sirius 129 and XM 127 as well as Bloomberg on Sirius 130 and XM 127. We also offer compelling Fox news programming on FOX News XM 121/SIRIUS 131 and FOX News Talk XM 168/SIRIUS 145.

If you have comments or questions feel free to call customer care at: 1-800-XMRADIO/ 1-800-967-2346.

News channels on Sirius XM include Fox News Channel, CNN, Headline News, BBC and C-SPAN.

> Update: An insider tells TVNewser the network was dropped due to the Sirius-XM merger and the lack of channel space.
