February Ratings: HLN Shows Most Growth

For the third month in a row, HLN had the largest year-to-year gains of any cable news network in prime time, in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. In prime time (8-11pm Mon-Sun) HLN grew 56% in Total Viewers and 62% in the demo.

At 8pm Nancy Grace beat MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann in the demo. Grace ends the month as the #5 program in cable news in the demo.

In its fourth full month on the air, Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell posted the network’s largest 7pm audience in the demo since Feb. 2005.

At 11pm, Showbiz Tonight had its best month ever in the demo — up 33% year-over-year.
