Florida, Florida, Florida: NewsHour Begins Battleground State Focus

Tomorrow, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer kicks off a special series on the key battleground states in this year’s presidential election with a focus on Florida.

Judy Woodruff is scheduled to report from the Sunshine State with analysis of the local economy, and a look at how the McCain and Obama campaigns are battling for Florida votes.

The series is the latest in “state-focused” election reporting by TVNewsers this year, including ABC’s multi-platform 50 States in 50 Days and NBC’s four-day Today Takes on the Battleground States.
