Fly Away: Atlanta Falcons Say No To Hard Knocks

So much for the Atlanta Falcons on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

Less than a week after Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff hinted the franchise was interested in being featured, head coach Mike Smith squashed any hopes of seeing a camera shoved in the face of Matt Ryan and Roddy White.

“Smith told me Falcons had internal discussions about Hard Knocks, but came 2 the decision they won’t do this yr,” Scott Hanson of the NFL Network tweeted Monday.

The Falcons join the likes of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions and New York Jets that have publicly passed on the training camp documentary.
