FNC Gets Jump On iPhone App Frenzy

So, has anyone gone 3G yet? We here at TVNewser don’t have the new iPhone, and some of us don’t have the old iPhone either.

Anyway.

If you did wait in line (it was 4 hours at the Soho Apple store at 12:30pmET), then you’ll notice there are now more than 500 iPhone applications. You can see pics of celebrities, or listen to Pandora or play lots and lots of games.

If you want news, you’ve got 14 options. And the only one featuring a cable news network is the FNC uReport app. It was built for the iPhone and one of the few news apps included in the launch. Some other news options available come from Bloomberg, the New York Times and the Associated Press.
