FNC Retains Most Viewers After Inauguration

CNN was the top-rated cable news network during the Inauguration coverage, but FNC retained the most viewers in Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo on Wednesday.

FNC retained 92% of Total Viewers during prime time, while MSNBC kept 66% and CNN 49%. In the demo during prime time, FNC kept 71%, MSNBC 63% and CNN 41%.

In total day figures, FNC kept 70% in Total Viewers, compared to 53% for MSNBC and 35% for CNN. FNC retained 61% in the demo, MSNBC 52% and CNN 30%.

Although FNC retained more viewers, CNN still won the ad-friendly demo for total day and prime time.
