Shep Smith updated viewers during The Fox Report: "It's been three days since our Fox News colleagues, the national correspondent Steve Centanni and a New Zealander, Olaf Wiig, were kidnapped in Gaza. We still have no word on their whereabouts, no word on their condition."

Smith quoted the CPJ executive director's statement, then said: "Fox News will keep you updated on the latest developments and the latest on our colleagues as we know them. For now, we know very little."
