An FNC original, Suzanne Scott, is being promoted to Vice President of Programming for Fox News Channel. In making the announcement, SVP Bill Shine said, "Suzanne has made a significant contribution to FOX News and has proven to be a talented television producer and leader."

Prior to joining FNC in 1996, Scott was executive assistant to Chet Collier at both CNBC and America's Talking. Collier, one of FNC's founders, recruited Scott to join him at FNC.

FOX NEWS CHANNEL PROMOTES SUZANNE SCOTT TO VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING

FOX News Channel (FNC) has promoted Suzanne Scott to Vice President of Programming, announced Bill Shine, Senior Vice President, Programming. Reporting directly to Shine, Scott will oversee network programming while taking on additional responsibilities involving digital content.

In making the announcement, Shine said, “Suzanne has made a significant contribution to FOX News and has proven to be a talented television producer and leader.”

Scott has been with FNC since before its launch in 1996. Prior to joining the network, she served as executive assistant to television legend Chet Collier at both CNBC and America’s Talking. Collier later recruited Scott to join him in launching FOX News.

More recently, Scott served as Network Executive Producer where she oversaw various programming and spearheaded user-generated digital projects such as “U-Report,” text voting and the establishment of Gretawire. Prior to this, Scott was the senior producer of On the Record, managing the overall production of the program since 2003. She helped launch the show in 2002 and served as its associate producer.
