In recent months, the two units have ramped up their talks about collaborating on programming, says a person familiar with the situation. Fox News Channel already produces "Fox News Sunday," which airs on Fox stations."

> "Now there is talk inside News Corp. about a morning show -- a hybrid of news and entertainment -- that would air on the Fox-owned stations and perhaps even go national on the network. The 9 a.m. show might use Fox News facilities in New York, according to people familiar with the discussions, although that doesn't mean Fox News would produce it."
