Fox, FNC, & O.J.: Corporate Hypocrisy?

An industry observer writes to TVNewser:

“The question isn’t Roger Ailes’ hypocrisy, it’s the corporate hypocrisy of News Corp. I’ve always been amused that Fox News is the champion of all that is moral, yet sibling network FX is probably the top target of the Christian TV indecency crusaders, particularly the Parents Television Council. That’s why it’s often apt to compare Fox News to pro wrestling. IF News Corp. execs thought they could make a buck as a left-wing news channel, they’d do it in a heartbeat. Hence, they can put OJ on one network and moralist Bill O’Reilly on the other.”
