Fox News Flooded, Too

Storm_8.8.pngAn emailer writes “The NYC headquarters of Fox News is completely flooded. There’s a tarp hanging from the newsroom ceiling and vacuums trying to dry up the soaked rugs. Quite a mess!” FNC’s newsroom is in an below-street level area of the News Corp. building on 6th Ave.

>Update: “A FOX executive explained that there’s only a minor leak in the newsroom with a tarp covering a small area. No shows have been moved, no studios or control rooms were affected and newsroom personnel were not even displaced. The leak is the result of an abundant amount of water, which came in through the front door and made its way downstairs through the elevator shaft. However, that’s the extent.. nothing is wrong with the floors and the carpet is intact, just like it had been yesterday. All the shows are being produced as normal from their designated studios/control rooms.”
