Fox News (Officially) Turns 15

After weeks of celebrating across the country, today Fox News Channel officially turns 15 years old. The cable network launched on October 7, 1996 and has spent the last 10 years as the top-rated cable news channel on television. In addition, Fox News CEO Roger Ailes and News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch appeared on “Fox & Friends” this morning to talk about the anniversary… as well as the predictions of failure. There was also a giant cake:

Tonight FNC will televise a documentary looking at, well, itself. “Fox News Channel: 15 Years: Fair & Balanced” will be hosted by Bill Hemmer, and air tonight at 10 PM.
