Fox News: Trying to Make Americans Less Cynical

Fox News Channel is sponsoring a new Web initiative that features the likes of LL Cool J, Kelly Preston and Fran Drescher. It’s called Real American Stories and it features inspirational stories of some well-known and not so well-known Americans. Over the coming months, Fox News programs will produce segments around some of those who’ve submitted their stories. There’s also a section that allows you to upload your own story.

The non-partisan and, in fact, apolitical campaign came out of discussions which began about six weeks ago. The site launched last night and is expected to continue beyond the election.
