Murdoch Wants To Buy Dow Jones; It Could Bolster The Fox Biz Channel
David Faber had a big scoop on CNBC's Morning Call today. Just after 11am, Faber reported that News Corp. has made an unsolicited $60 a share all cash offer for Dow Jones, the publisher of The Wall Street Journal.
Reporting the news must have been a bit awkward, because as Faber noted, CNBC has "a partnership with Dow Jones that extends until 2012."
