Fox's $3 Billion Deal to Televise LA Dodgers Games Could Be in Jeopardy

Fox parent company News Corp. recently agreed to a $3 billion, 20-year deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers to televise their games. Unfortunately, that deal was cut with Frank McCourt, who has since seen the team been taken over by Major League Baseball.

This morning Bloomberg reports that the trusteee MLB commissioner Bud Selig will appoint to run the team may not take so kindly to the deal:

The trustee would take a very serious look at that deal and could very well void it,” Neal Pilson, a former president of CBS Sports, said in an interview, noting he isn’t privvy to the details. “He may very well think the team can get more money if they put it up for bid.”

Just when you thought the situation with the Dodgers couldn’t get any more ridiculous…
