Sam Champion will bid farewell to “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, but today he’s getting well wishes from his “GMA” family. Champion had the day off today — in fact he was off for the better part of November, on his honeymoon in Brazil.
Champion has been with “GMA” since 2006 and with ABC for 25 years. He’s moving to The Weather Channel where he will be managing editor and host a revamped morning show in the New Year.
