GMA Touts Feb. Sweeps Success

Good Morning America posted its best February sweeps ratings since 1991 and “slashed the gap” with NBC by 65%. 420,000 viewers separate the two programs. (Last February, the gap was 1.19 million.) ABC’s ratings spin: “For the sweep, GMA posted its smallest Total Viewer gap with NBC’s Today since May of 1996 while NBC delivered its worst sweep performance in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 since February of 1999.”
