Gotham Profiles MSNBC’s Abrams

MSNBC’s Dan Abrams is featured in this month’s Gotham magazine. Abrams talks about his newish show Verdict, what it’s all about, (covering “the big stories…through the eyes of a lawyer”) and his stint as MSNBC general manager.

I decided to become a GM because it was a unique opportunity, and I had numerous thoughts on how the network could improve. It was a fantastic opportunity. Ultimately, though, when the nine o’clock hour became available, I couldn’t turn it down. You can’t turn down primetime.
