Gresham Striegel, Glenn Beck Producer, Leaves Fox News for MSNBC
First on TVNewser: Fox News veteran producer Gresham Striegel has left the network, and this week began a new job at MSNBC.
Striegel, who worked 13 years at FNC on programs ranging from “The Crier Report”, to “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” to “Fox & Friends,” was most recently the senior producer on FNC’s second-most popular show, “Glenn Beck“.
TVNewser has learned Beck’s team was trying to push out the veteran producer who newsroom insiders tell us was loyal and well-liked. But Striegel, who was turned off by the treatment, left the network a few weeks ago on his own terms and in good stead.
He’s now an executive producer across the street — literally — at MSNBC where this week he has been producing for David Shuster and will eventually settle in to overseeing two dayside hours.
