Gretchen Carlson and Chris Wallace Debate — or Don’t Debate — on ‘Fox & Friends’
On “Fox & Friends” this morning, Chris Wallace just wanted to promote his Sunday show. Instead, he got into a debate with Gretchen Carlson about Mitt Romney‘s handling of the initial reaction to the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya Tuesday night. It turned into a disagreement about how the media covered Romney’s press conference Wednesday morning.
“The reporters were asking the questions, not Mitt Romney,” said Carlson. “The reporters could have asked all those kinds of questions, but they didn’t.”
“I’m not getting into an argument with you about this, Gretchen,” Wallace replied.
“I’m just debating the issue,” said Carlson.
“Well, I’m not debating,” Wallace said. Watch, via Mediaite, after the jump…
