Group Takes On God’s Warriors Through Ad
The group leading the charge against Christiane Amanpour‘s CNN series God’s Warriors has taken out a full page ad in the New York Times. Camera is calling on CNN to “produce, promote and broadcast another series as lavishly funded as Amanpour’s that accurately presents the “[intersection of] religion and politics.”
CNN stands by the three-part series. Last month, they told TVNewser’s Alissa Krinsky, “CNN strongly disagrees with some criticism that there was a ‘moral equivalency’ between the three programs. God’s Warriors was met with overwhelming acclaim from CNN viewers and reviewers alike.”
