Jimmy Fallon has a new gig, but he’s brought some recurring segments, including one where clips of Brian Williams on “NBC Nightly News” are spliced together into a rap, along to “The Tonight Show.” Last night, it was “Rapper’s Delight” — featuring both Williams and Lester Holt. Watch:
Meanwhile, on “Nightly News” yesterday, Williams apologized to Arsenio Hall for leaving him off a graphic showing all the late-night hosts on TV. “In apologizing to Arsenio, we just wanted to point out: at least you’re in good company here,” Williams said. “Last July we left the state of New Hampshire off the map and had to apologize to a U.S. Senator. Just last night on this broadcast we re-named the city of brotherly love ‘Philadelpia.’ So chalk it up to being on the air at 4 a.m. in the morning in Russia, but it won’t happen again.”
