The superPAC “9-9-9 Fund” which supports Herman Cain‘s run for the White House has a new ad which rips the media — echoing the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court confirmation hearing 20 years ago — over the coverage of the sexual harassment accusations against Cain. CNN reports a shorter version of the video will run as a paid commercial on Iowa TV stations next week. The ad includes clips of support from Fox Business Network and clips from detractors on MSNBC and CNN. And while the ad directs its ire at the “liberal” media, Cain himself has pointed the finger at the campaign of his GOP rival Rick Perry for revealing the decades-old charges.
