“We see the value of Twitter. I use Twitter all the time — my wife probably says too much. But it’s a vehicle for us in TV to communicate. It’s amazing what kind of tidbits you can get and follow up with. It allows me to share some personal stuff I couldn’t do on air … maybe show a lot more about me to the viewer who invites me in their living room.”
The “Special Report” host is also an avid apps user. He used one that prepares diets based on individual blood type to lose 45 pounds. “It’s amazing what something on your phone can do,” he says.
