In Larry’s World, NewsNight Is Next

Dear Larry King,

Please stop tossing to “NewsNight” at the end of your hour on CNN.

Tuesday night, after a “Tribute to Ricky Nelson,” you tossed to Heidi Collins, saying: “Music will play under her as we give her the podium as she hosts ‘NewsNight.’”

Wednesday night, after “Are Pychics For Real?,” you did it again: “Anderson Cooper and NewsNight is next. Anderson?”

Sadly, NewsNight was axed almost two months ago. It’s still a raw wound, so could you please stop getting our hopes up?

Thanks.

> Update: 11:13am: An e-mailer asks: “Ever think Larry King does the NewsNight thing on purpose? As a message to the genuises that made that decision?”
