TVNewser commenter NotsoAnonymous reminds us that GOP VP candidate Gov. Sarah Palin is a former TV reporter. After receiving a journalism degree from the University of Idaho, Palin worked briefly as a sports reporter for TV stations in Anchorage.

And, like some other TVNewsers, she’s also a former beauty queen. Palin was Miss Wasilla 1984 and a runner-up in the Miss Alaska pageant that year.
