What’s next for Bill Hemmer? In a statement quoted by the AP, Hemmer says he’s enjoyed working at CNN but “at this point in my career, it is time for me to move forward with a new set of challenges.” What sort of challenges is he looking toward?

“CNN sources say Mr. Hemmer had spurned assignments as senior White House correspondent and national correspondent for the news network,” TV Week reports. “Neither CNN nor Hemmer’s representatives would discuss their talks on Monday,” the AP adds…
