If you are an NPR listener, you need no introduction to Ivan Watson. Ivan has covered most of the hotspots around the world in the past decade. You can “see” his reports on radio, and now we will be able to watch him do his excellent storytelling on CNN.

I am very excited to add Ivan to our top notch newsgathering team, as part of our ongoing Content Ownership Strategy. He will be based in Istanbul, and will report from the region and around the world.

Ivan will be here in Atlanta tomorrow and will spend the week getting reacquainted with his CNN colleagues.
