Jacko Not Guilty: Boosts Web Traffic

TV Week sums up the traffic to cable news Web sites on Jackson verdict day: “FoxNews.com had its biggest day ever, said a spokesman, adding that the site had a record 15,005,497 page views for the day. More than 3 million of those fell between 4 and 5 p.m., when people were waiting for the verdict to be read.” FNC reported 250,000 requests for Jacko video.

“More than 630,000 streams of the Jackson verdict were watched on MSNBC.com, making it the most-watched verdict video in the Web site’s history, according to a spokeswoman.” And “Courttv.com logged more than 4.7 million page views Monday, a 148 percent increase over the previous Monday.”
