Jake Tapper Tops ‘This Week’ Poll

Last Friday we asked, If George Takes the GMA Job, Who Should Host “This Week?” After nearly 1,700 votes, 28% of you thought ABC News White House correspondent Jake Tapper (aka @jaketapper) should get the gig, followed by PBS’ Gwen Ifill (10%), and former ABC Newsman Ted Koppel (9%).

And while some of you wrote in candidates including Glenn Beck, Bill Maher and Sean Hannity), several wrote in George Stephanopoulos. And TVNewser hears that may be the plan — a scenario where Stephanopoulos commutes to D.C. on weekends to host “This Week” and returns for Monday morning’s GMA, at least for the time being. We’ll know for sure, soon enough.
