Jimmy V Week Starts Wednesday

As if you needed another reason to watch college basketball.

The fourth annual Jimmy V Week begins Wednesday at 7 p.m. ESPN’s family of networks will simulcast the coach’s 1993 ESPY speech – watch it after the jump – and will feature the Jimmy V Women’s Baskeball Classic on Monday Dec. 6 and the men’s version on Tuesday Dec. 7.

The 2009 Jimmy V Week raised more than $900,000 to support cancer research, and the event has given more than $2.6 million to charity during its first three years.
