Today on the mediabistro.com Morning Media Menu podcast, we’re joined by Jossip.com founder and editorial director David Hauslaib. We talk about the future of gossip sites, the tabloids’ weight issues and more.
Since he started Jossip.com in 2003, he’s seen the amount of similar sites grow. “I’m concerned because I don’t see a lot of creative things going on, I see a lot of copycatting,” says Hauslaib. “And I think that’s only natural in any field.”
We also talk about the tabloids’ weight obsession, the AP’s potential lawsuit over the Obama HOPE image and more.
