Judge Orders Treasury to Comply With FBN FOIA Request

In a victory for Fox Business Network, a U.S. district judge ordered the Treasury Department to comply with FBN’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request within the next 30 days. This relates to FBN’s lawsuit filed on November 25.

The request “sought actual data on the use of the bailout funds for American International Group and the Bank of New York Mellon, and an additional request, filed on December 1, sought similar data on the bailout funds for Citigroup, Inc.”

FBN has a second pending FOIA lawsuit against the Fed.
