Julie Chen Leaving “Early Show” for CBS Daytime?
The NYPost reports, “Early Show” co-co-anchor Julie Chen will shoot a pilot next month for a show that would rival “The View.”
Chen, who is married to CBS Corp. boss Les Moonves, has only appeared on “Early” a few times this year since the birth of her son Charlie last September.
A CBS source tells the Post, “It’s a daytime panel show to take on ‘The View,’ targeted at women with children and hosted by celebrities, journalists and regular moms. A pilot will be shot in early May.”
Other possible panelists, actresses Sara Gilbert and Lisa Rinna and pregnant “Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel.
