Kate Gosselin Gives First Post-Separation Interview to Meredith Vieira

NBC News announced that Kate Gosselin will sit down with Meredith Vieira for a live interview on the Today show Monday. This is Gosselin’s first television interview, other than the ones she gives on her own TLC show, since announcing her separation from Jon Gosselin.

NBC says Kate “will open up about the intense spotlight she and her family have been under the last few months and how they have been dealing with it.”

Ratings for “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ dropped 61% when the show returned from a six-week hiatus Monday night. The show had posted record ratings on June 22, when the couple announced they would separate.
