“Oh, Katie: Hamlet really doesn’t have anything on you, does he?,” he writes. “Industry sources Monday confirmed that discussions between Katie Couric and CBS have begun again, though Couric — also once again — has still made no decision whether to leave Today after her contract expires next May.”

CBS and NBC reps declined comment.
