Katrina: Special Reports On NBC, ABC, CBS, CNBC, TWC Tonight

NBC News will present a special edition of “Dateline” at 9pm tonight. Brian Williams will anchor from New Orleans. “The special will include reports on the latest developments along the Gulf Coast, and take an in-depth look at the long road to recovery from one of America’s most destructive storms,” the press release says.

ABC News will present “In The Path of Katrina” at 10pm tonight. Elizabeth Vargas will anchor from Gulfport It will “feature reports from ABC News correspondents positioned throughout the battered Gulf Coast region.”

CNBC will present a live one-hour business special “Hurricane Katrina: Road to Recovery” at 7pm tonight. Conan will move to 8pm, the P.R. says.

> Update: 2:15pm: CBS News will present a 48 Hours special, “Katrina’s Fury,” from 8 to 8:30 p.m. “The program will be anchored from New Orleans by CBS News Chief White House Correspondent John Roberts, who has been covering the story there since Sunday.”

> Update: 2:20pm: “The Weather Channel is having a special presentation as well at 9p headed by Jim Cantore.”
